To} Will
I, J. A. Hall of the County of Russell and State of Virginia, declare this to be my last will and testament.
I give and bequeath to my sons Robert Hall, Sherman, Allen, Charles and Elbert Hall all of my real estate that I own in Russell County and State of Virginia, and land on North side of Copper Ridge and Buzzard Roost. Fifty acres more or less for the consideration of looking after me and my wife Bettie Hall our life time to furnish us plenty to eat and wear and to keep us good fires and good bedding and to pay all doctor bills, burial expenses and to put up tombstones at our graves not to costly ones. This land is be equally divided between my sons as named above. Provided they bear the expenses equally between themselves. I also give and bequeath my son Fletcher Hall one dollars, and also give and bequeath to Mary Austin, my daughter, one dollar, and give and bequeath to Alvie Osborne, my daughter, one dollar to be paid at my death. I give and bequeath all my personal property that I may ownat my death and my wife’s death to my sons. Robert Hall, Sherman Hall, allen hall, Charles Hall and Elbert Hall, to dispose of as they think best.
Given under my hand and seal March 15, Day, 1928.

Virginia: In the Clerk’s office of the Circuit Court of the County of Russell, the 10th day of July 1928.
A paper writing purported to be the true last will and testament of John A. Hall, deceased, was this day produced in the Clerk’s Office aforesaid, before the Clerk of said Court, and proven by the oaths of C. M. Holmes and W. W. Robinson, the two subscribing witnesses thereto, as provided by law. Thereupon said will was admitted to probate and ordered to be recorded as and for the true last will and testament of the said John A. Hall, deceased.
