May the 7th day, 1856
This my last will and testimony is that my beloved son Paris Wright have one hundred dollars and that after my debts is settled the remainder of my estate be disposed of as the law directs. And I appoint Morgan T. Lipps my administrator to settle my business after my decease according to my will above written. Who shall be settled with by some person legally appointed by the court.

At a court held for Russell County at the courthouse on the 3rd day of June 1856.
The last will and testament of George Wright deceased was produced in court and proved by the oath of William Wright and Alexander Wright the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of Morgan T. Lipps executor therein named who took the oath of an executor prescribed by law and entered into and acknowledged his bond in the sum of $500.00 with Andrew J. Dotson as his security conditioned as the law directs - A certificate is therefore granted him for obtaining probat of the said will in due form.
