I George Pucket of the County of Russell and State of Virginia being ? (possibly impossessed) with the with the shortness of life and the Certainty of death and being of sound mind and disposing memory hereby make my last will and Testament revoking all wills heretofore made by me, in the following manner to wit:
1st I bequeath to my sons Jeremiah and Thomas Pucket the track of land on which they now reside situated in Smoots Hollow containing about ninty acres more or less, being the land which I purchaised of Drury Pucket to be equally divided between them, in addition to what I have heretofore given them.
2” I give to my son David Pucket the track of land on which he now resides, situated in the Copper ridge and number of acres not remembered in addition to what I have heretofore given him.
3rd In addition to what I have heretofore given my son Wm. Harvey Pucket, I now give him the track of land on which he now resides, situated in Glade Hollow on the east side of the Fincastle and Cumberlin Gap road Known as the Jeremiah Boys track, containing (marked out) being in two surveys but number of acres not remembered.
4th I give to my son Isaac Pucket the track of land on which I live in Glade Hollow containing one Hundred acres more or less, including all of the appurtenances thereunto belonging also ?(one word I could not read, possibly embraceing) all of the farming utensils which I will be possessed with at the time of my death. I also desire that Isaac Pucket shall pay out to my son Geo. W. Pucket or his legal representative the sum of Fifty Dollars, and this with what I have heretofore advanced to him is what I intend him to have of the effects of my estate.
5th In addition to what I have heretofore given my Daughter Jane Rino, Lucinda Chapman, and Margaret Johnson, I now give each of them the sum of Fifty Dollars to be paid out of my personal effects.
6th In addition to what I give my granddaughter Elizabeth Jane Wilson I now give her Five Dollars to be paid out of and personal effects.
7th I give to my daughter Nancy Pucket the residue of my personal effects of every conciderable character of which I may be possessed at the time of my death which is not heretofore disposed of. This however is not to interfere with my property which my son Isaac may have in the house or on the farm, as he now has property on the and in the house in common with mine.

At a court begun and held for Russell County at the Court House thereof on the 8th day of September 1882 The last will and Testament of George Pucket was this day produced court and proven by the oath of W. H. Alderson one of the subscribing witnesses who stated that said George Pucket acknowledged said will in His pressence and in the presence of T.W.M. Alderson the other subscribing witness and that they witnessed said will at the request of said George Pucket and in his pressence and the said will is ordered to be recorded.
