In the name of God Amen
I Edward Kelley being weak in body but of sound mind and disposing memory and wishing to leave my worldly affairs settled to my mind I do make this my last will and testament revoking all other wills or parts of wills formerly or heretofore made
First it is my will and desire after my decease that my executor sell my two black girls Betsy and Sally if they should live and out of the proceeds of the sale pay all my just debts and divide the balance as I shall hereafter direct secondly it is my will and desire that the Heirs of my oldest son Michael Kelly deceased have one dollar and all that I have given him in my lifetime and what I have given the said Heirs of the said Michael and no more Thirdly it is my will and desire that my second son John Kelly have one hundred dollars out of the money of proceeds of the sale of the aforesaid negro girls and all that I have given him in my lifetime and no more Fourthly it is my will and desire the heirs of my third son Joseph Kelly deceased have sixty dollars out of the proceeds of the sale of the aforesaid black girls and all that I have given my son Joseph in his lifetime and no more.
Fifthly it is my will and desire that my son William Kelley have my plantation where I now live containing ___four acres to have and hold the same to belong to him his heirs and assigns forever and also my house furniture and also to have the said black girls before mentioned during my natural life and after my deceasethe said girls to be sold as aforesaid and my son William to have the balance of the money of the proceeds of the sale not before bequested to make use of or distribute as he will or may think proper with the exception of what I may hereafter will as bequeath to Peter Kelley Sixthly it is my will and desire that my daughter Amy Stinson have three hundred dollars the money of the proceeds of the sale of Nancy a black girl sold to Andrew Williams by Robert Stinson for me and what I have given her in my lifetime and no more
Seventhly it is my will and desire that my youngest son Peter Kelley have all the notes that I hold against ___ and ___ and fifty dollars out of the proceeds of the sale of the two black girls Betsy and Sally before mentioned and all that I have given him in lifetime and no more Eighthly it is my will and desire that my son William be my executor

This instrument of writing was exhibited in Court as and for the last
Will and Testament of Edward Kelly deceased and proven by the oaths of William K Colley and James Sykes the subsribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.
And on the motion of William Kelly executor therein named who made oath and together with George Cowan his security entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of $1500 conditioned as the law directs, certificate is granted the said William Kelly for obtaining probat of the said will in due form.
