John Robert Ferguson, b. 27 Apr 1888, d. 25 Apr 1968, m. Radna Dora Kingsley, b. 25 Sept 1895, Arkansas, d. date unknown. They homesteaded in Alberta, Canada on 320a of land. Their son, Hugh Allen, now lives on the old homestead property. Second son, William Harry, enlisted in Canadian Army, WW11, killed in action in Italy, 25 Nov 1944, two months before he was to be discharged, buried in Italy in a cemetery for servicemen killed in action. William Harry had received many medals and ribbons as commendations for his bravery, even though he was only 21 years old when he died. John Robert and Radna are both buried in Barrhead United Church Cemetery, Barrhead, Alberta, Canada.
