Walter V. Gibson was born 08 Jan 1878 in Wise Co., VA, the son of Alfred Gibson & Martha Horn. On 13 Jun 1900 in Russell Co., VA, he married Nellie E. Amburgey, daughter of William Amburgey & Nancy Kelly. Nellie was born 28 Feb 1878 in Russell Co., VA. Walter Gibson died 15 Mar 1925 & Nellie 10 Mar 1958 both in Wise Co., VA. They are both buried in the Edwards Cemetery at Herald, Sandy Ridge, Wise County, Virginia. The above photo was taken on their wedding day, 13 Jun 1900.
