On 20 Aug 1876 in Russell Co. he married Melinda Eveline Perkins the d/o Flemming Perkins & Sally Ray. Melinda was born 30 Mar 1858 in Russell Co. Melinda died 17 Jun 1926 & Davis 04 Sep 1945 both in Russell Co. Davis Miller was blind in the right eye as a result of a hot cinder flying in his eye while doing blacksmith work.
