Thomas Creigh McCleary was born 1798, Greenbrier, VA and died 14 Aug 1872 in Montgomery County, Missouri. He was son of Hugh McCleary who was born in Belfast, Ireland, and Jane Creigh who was born in White Abbey, Ireland. Thomas married 28 Aug 1827 to Barbara Baker See, who was born 03 Oct 1805 Randolph County, VA. and died 04 Jul 1871 in Montgomery County, Missouri. Barbara's parents were Michael See and Catherine Baker. Thomas and Barbara lived briefly in Nicholas County, VA (now W.VA) then in Russell County, VA and shortly after 1850 moved to Missouri. Their daughter, Catherine was the wife of Anthony McKnight Ferguson of Russell County, VA.
