Rachel "Price" Dye

Rachel Price was born 14 Jun 1822 in Russell Co., VA. At this point her parents are unknown. About 1840 she married Absalom Dye. Absalom is believed by some researchers to be the son of Pryor Dye, Sr. and Carlotta Carter, though no proof has yet been found. He was born 04 Jun 1822 in Russell Co. Absalom died 29 Dec 1890 and Rachel 11 Jan 1903, both in Russell Co. They are buried in the Absalom Dye family cemetery on Rt. 637 in Wysor Valley near Honaker & Swords Creek, VA.
