The above photo is of Martha "Mattie" Isaacs Moore holding her son Gains Moore in her arms with her Daughter Ethel Moore by her side. Martha was the daughter of Fielding and Melvina Long Isaacs. She was born in Russell County in 1880 in a house on Grassy Creek and she lived in that same house about 90 years. The above photo was taken about 1912.
