Major John Fuller was born in Russell County Virginia on 26 Jan 1882, the son of George Fuller and Mary Jane Thompson. On 05 Sep 1906 he married Fonnie Lee Musick, the daughter of Joseph Callaway Musick & Allie B. Combs. Fonnie was born in Russell County on 20 Apr 1886. Major and Fonnie had 8 children: 1) Joseph Bert b: 01 Aug 1907, d: 15 Apr 1910; 2) Carson Hawkins b: 25 Aug 1909, d: 23 Mar 1910; 3) Nannie Ruth b: 09 Aug 1911, d: 14 Apr 1993; 4) Lena G. b & d: 13 Oct 1913; 5) Hattie Ellen b: 07 Dec 1914; 6) Edna Minnie b: 15 May 1917; 7) Bertha Lee b: 12 Apr 1920, d: 20 Jul 1994; 8) Major Clarence b: 26 Dec 1923. Major Fuller died 04 Aug 1942 and Fonnie 21 Jun 1972. Both, as well as their three small children and daughter Ruth, and many of Major's ancestors and relatives are buried in the Thompson Family Cemetery on Big A Mtn.
