Levi Sykes was born abt 1811 in Russell Co., VA, the son of James Sykes & Nancy Jones. Abt 1831 he married Catherine Wallace, the daughter of John Wallace IV. Catherine was born abt 1816 in Russell Co. Levi Sykes died 06 Jun 1860 and Catherine on 16 Oct 1886.
