Rev. Joseph R. Hubbard was born 02 Feb 1855 in Russell County, VA., the son of James H. Hubbard & Lucy Belcher. On 09 Mar 1875 he married Rachel Fletcher, the daughter of Thomas & Elizabeth Fletcher. Rachel was born abt. 1840 in Russell County, VA. Joseph & Rachel had 1 son, John Thomas Hubbard, born abt 1879. Rachel died 08 Oct 1921 and Joseph 05 Mar 1946.
