John Tunnell Ball was born 09 Sep 1812 in Russell Co., VA, the son of John Ball and Polly Ball. About 1836 he married Margaret "Peggy" Honaker, the daughter of Martin Honaker & Lydia Musick. Margaret was born 13 Jan 1817 in Russell Co., VA. John and Margaret later moved to Sedgewick Co. KS. John died on 16 Apr 1889 and Margaret on 30 Nov 1890. Both are buried in Sedgewick Co., KS.
