Jane Hicks was born abt. 1831 in Russell Co., VA. She was the d/o Claiborne & Susannah Hicks. On 05 Jan 1855 in Russell Co. she married Ephraim Mayfield Kiser, the s/o Joseph Kiser & Mary Childress. Ephraim was born on 18 Aug 1818. Jane was Ephraim's second wife, his first being Mary Ervin, d/o Micajah Ervin & Sarah Sutherland. Ephraim died in September 1904 and Jane in October 1921.
