James & Frances "Jordan" Holbrook

James Holbrook was born 05 Sep 1815 in Russell County, VA., the son of Robert Holbrook & Mary "Polly" McCoy. Abt 1837 he married Frances "Fanny" Jordan, the daughter of Jacobus "Covith" Jordan and Martha "Patsy" Carter. Frances was born 23 Dec 1816 in Russell County. When Wise County was formed, they then lived in that county. James Holbrook died on 14 Feb 1892 and Frances on 25 Mar 1887. The above photo taken about 1870-75.
