Iradell Ray was born abt 1866 in Russell County, VA, son of James Ray & Margaret Ann Griffith. On 27 Feb 1890 in Russell Co. he married Rachel Honaker, the d/o William Martin Honaker & Martha Griffith. Rachel was born abt 1869 in Russell Co. Iradell died in 1919 and Rachel on 25 Dec 1948. The above photo was taken abt 1906. Pictured are, from left to right, McCarty, Silas, Idell, Iradell (seated), Charles, Rachel with baby Ivan on her lap, Cynthia, Robert.
