George & Mary Jane "Thompson" Fuller

George Fuller was born 01 Sep 1824, probably in Washington Co., Va., the son of Thomas Fuller and Anne Gobble. On 09 Mar 1859 in Russell Co., Va., he married Mary Jane Thompson, the daughter of Emory Thompson & Phoebe Fuller. Mary Jane Thompson was born 19 Aug 1837 in Russell Co., Va. George & Mary Jane had nine children: 1) Beverly J., born 03 Aug 1859; 2) Louisa, b: abt. 1863; 3) Hawkins T., b: 28 Feb. 1866; 4) George Kindred, b: 10 Apr 1868; 5) Phoebe Ann, b: 05 Dec 1870; 6) Martha Helen, b: 05 Feb 1872; 7) Thomas, b: July 1873; 8) Celia, b: 05 Mar 1878 and 9) Major John, b: 26 Jan 1882. George Fuller died 19 Jul 1896 and Mary Jane 21 Jun 1906. Both as well as several descendants are buried in the Thompson Family Cemetery located on Big A Mtn. near Honaker.
