George Lea & Nancy "Counts" Stinson Family

George Lea Stinson was born in Russell Co. VA 27 Apr 1849, the son of William Stinson & Nancy Jessee. On 08 Apr 1881 he married Nancy J. Counts, the daughter of Joshua Counts and Margaret Fannin. Nancy was born 12 Apr 1861. George died 24 Mar 1915 and was originally buried in the Stinson Cem. After his death Nancy moved to Lebanon. She died 06 Oct 1934 and was buried in West Hill Cem. in Lebanon. Afterwards, George's body was moved to the West Hill Cem. and placed beside Nancy. Pictured above are George & Nancy Stinson with children Lula b. 27 Apr 1889, John (Next to George) b. 10 Jun 1891, Walter b. 13 Apr 1883, Ada b. 17 Jun 1885 and Margaret b. 10 Apr 1887.
