Fleming Austin was born 07 Mar 1842 in Floyd Co., VA, the s/o Thomas Austin & Nancy Martin. About 1847 the family moved to Russell Co., VA. On 23 Nov 1865 in Russell Co., Fleming married Ellen Lambert, d/o William Lambert & Matilda McGlaughlin. Ellen was born abt. 1848 in Russell Co., VA. Ellen died abt 1889 and Fleming on 06 Jan 1919.
