Creed Fulton Dye

Creed Fulton Dye was born in Russell County, Virginia on 03 Dec 1844, the son of Branson and Mary "Finney" Dye. The family later moved to Washington County. During the Civil War, Creed served in Co. C, 22nd Va. Cav., C.S.A. After the Civil War, Creed met and married Rachel Sproles Kaylor on 04 Aug 1867. Rachel was the daughter of Daniel and Hulda "Sproles" Kaylor. Creed died 16 Aug 1922 in Washington Co., and Rachel died 21 May 1928. Both are buried in Riverview Cemetery in Washington Co., Va.
