Absalom Dye was born in Russell County, VA on 04 Jun 1868, the son of Joshua Dye and Mary Jane Boyd. On 28 Jul 1892 in Russell County he married Marjorie Fletcher the daughter of William Fletcher & Annie Musick. Marjorie was born 13 Jul 1872 in Buchanan County, VA. Absalom Dye died in 1950 and Marjorie in 1947. Both are buried in the Russell Memorial Cemetery in Lebanon.
