Beginning at two white oaks near the top of a clift corner to the land of said Vandike and with a line thereof North thirty one degrees East two hundred and ninety poles to a sugar tree corner to said line South seventy five degrees West forty four poles to pointers South thirty seven degrees West tow hundred and forty eight poles to pointers South twenty two and a half degrees East thirty eight poles to the Beginning.

With its appurtenances to the said John Vandike and his heirs forever in Witness whereof the said James Wood, Esquire, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hat hereunto set his hand and caused the lesser Seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond on the twenty fifth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine and of the Commonwealth the twenty third.
