Looking for family members and information on Claiborne Pleasant Peck
and Rachel Ellen Griffith,Peck. John Henry Shepherd and Lizzie Hess,

Comments: My paternal grandparents are from Russell and
Scott counties. My ancestor, Norris Carter is listed in the 1787
personal property tax list for Russell county.
His offsprings, John,born 1774, George, born 1804, Andrew, born 1830,
George W., born 1853 all lived in Russell and Scott Counties. My
grandmother, Mary Carter hall was born in 1875 in Scott County. She
married Hadie Hall of Russell County around 1900. They moved to
Fredericksburg, Va around 1920. I have been unable to find much
information about Hadie Hall's relatives. His brother, George Hall also
migrated to Fredericksburg around the same time. I am coming to Russell
county on Thursday, May 31. If anyone has any information concerning the
