I am researching *MEADE* *SALYER(S)* *JESSIE/JESSEE*
All of my grandparents except for one all died before I was born. My
grandfather was Henry Floyd MEADE b. ca 1879 in Castlewood, VA, who
married Mary Elizabeth SALYER b. Dorchester, VA on April 22, 1922 in
Norton, Wise Co. VA. His first wife was Rebecca JESSIE b. February 1881
m. May 20, 1899. I'm not sure if this is the same as JESSEE or not.
There were children from both marriages. My daddy said there were also
HIGGINBOTHAMs in our family.
I would love to correspond with any potential family. I only have one
picture of my grandparents, so I am looking for pictures, pictures,
pictures!

Comments: The people in Russell Co. are really nice,we came
up from where we now live in Fla.to Dye Family reunion,a couple of years
ago.Hope to return,visted library,Local restaurants,stayed local
motel,Bought Books from Mr.Burkett,all so very nice, and the music by the
local Sheriff,and group were exceptional.While there we finally located
burrial place of G.F.Charles H.Dye ,On Giles Amos Farm,To any one that
might read this we need to hire some one to clean a small cemetery.
