Comments: I am looking for any information I can find on
a J.J. Kiser who owned land in Montgomery, Texas in Montgomery county,
just outside of Houston in the Conroe area. I believe he was married to
a Belle Kiser. My grandfather's ( Robert Chesley Singleton ) family
inherited land in Montgomery and we belive it came to him when Belle
Kiser died.
Any help would be appreciated.

Comments: I am starting our family tree and I found my
Grandpa in your county at Dante about 1920, listed as a coalminer. He
was killed in a coalmine within the next 10 or so yrs I think and I am

Comments: My fifth Great Grand Father built a 2 story log
cabin in the late 1700's along the Clinch River his name was Major James
Dickenson and is buried on the property and the Grave yard is called
Chestnut Knoll. I'am the Grandson of Clint DicKenson of Dante Va. just
