This Indenture made this 26th day of March one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight between William Kelly senr. and Dolly his wife of the County of Russell and Commonwealth of Virginia of the one part and Jacob Blare of the county and Commonwealth aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said William Kelly and Dolly his wife for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred pounds current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by the said Jacob Blare at the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipts whereof is hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto Jacob Blare his heirs and assigns ? certain tracts or parcels of land lying and being in the County of Russell the first tract lies on Clinch River it being a part of Cornelieus Roberts deed survey and bounded as follows, to wit beginning at the mouth of Caves Creek and running up the river to a clift of rocks and from thence resuming with the conditional line made between Abraham Childers and Michael Kelly to the foot of a cedar hill thence with a new conditional line between said Childers and Kelly and with said line to where the conditional line comes to said entry line whence with said line to the beginning including both tracts of land to have and to hold the said two several tracts of land with all its apperurances[sic] Whereunto belonging to the said Jacob Blare his hears and assigns forever and the said William Kelly and Dolly his wife for themselves and their heirs will forever warrant and defend the said tracts or parcels of land clear from the claim or claims of them the said William Kelly and Dolly his wife and their heirs and all person or persons whereunto the said William Kelly his heirs and assigns forever in witness whereof they have set their hands and offered their seals this day and year first written
