This cemetery is located on Miller Creek, almost 2 miles up from the junction of Swords Creek and Miller. County road #622, On the left side of the road, top of the hill above the old Garland Franklin Hurt place. A car can get to it, barely, by going to the next left turn and winding round the hill. A guide is recommended. There are no buildings or markers for the Hurt place.

This land was given to Garland and Connie shortly after they were married in 1913 by Robert Albert Hurt "Uncle Bob". It has been in the Hurt family since about 1850 and still is today ,1999.

Garland Franklin and his wife Connie Breeding are buried in the Lebanon memorial cemetery with sons, Clyde,Homer, Dewain and daughters Reabel and Bertella.
