Elizabeth O'Quin Gravesite
Elizabeath O'Quin is buried on the Donna Sue Jackson property, on Rt. 615,
very close to the Rt. 712 intersection, under a big tree, and in what
appears to be a rock pile. Gravesite is not fenced, and is located
alongside a chicken lot. According to family legend, Elizabeth was
killed along with 2 soldiers, by Indians, as she and her family were
traveling through Russell County. The soldiers are to have been buried
with her, but I couldn't see anything that suggested that they had been.
This grave site needs cleaning.
