Matthew HARRISON Submitted by Madeline Reese
This
Indenture made and entered into and fully concluded this 5th day of February
1828 between Matthew Harrison and his wife Alcy of the County of Richmond and
State of Virginia of the one part and Valentine Lewis of the aforesaid County
and State of the other part, witnesseth that for and inconsideration of the sum
of Eighty dollars Current money of Virginia to the said Matthew Harrison in hand
paid by the said Valentine Lewis, at the unsealing and delivery of these
presents the receipt and payment whereof the said Matthew Hudson (Clerk error?)
and Alcy his wife doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and every part of the said
sum of money and doth exonerate against and discharge the said Valentine Lewis
his heirs, exors or administrators forever by these presents grant bargain sell
----, ----, and confirm unto the said Valentine Lewis his heirs exors and
forever Forty two and a half acres of land be the same more or less lying and
being in the county of Northumberland which said are bounded by the land
formerly belonging to Matthias Self's Tract and the lands of James Burton, to
hold the said land tenement, heridatiments and ever of their appurtenances unto
the said Valentine Lewis his heirs or assigns forever, he the said Matthew
HArrison and Alcy his wife their heirs and all other persons shall and will
warrant and forver defend. In witness whereof whereunto we have hereunto set our
hands and seals this 6th day of February 1828.

This
Indenture made the 27 day of March Eighteen hundred and forty one between
WILLIAM HARRISON and ELIZA his wife of Richmond County State of Virginia of the
one part and JEREMIAH FALLIN of the County and state aforesaid of the other
part, witnesseth that the said WILLIAM HARRISON amd ELIZA his wife for and
inconsideration of the sum of twenty dollars of lawful money of Virginia to them
in hand paid by the said JEREMIAH FALLIN at or before the unsealing and delivery
of these presents (the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged) Have bargained
and sold and by these presents do and each of them doth bargain and sell unto
the said JEREMIAH FALLIN his heirs assigns a certain parcel or tract of Land
lying and being and situated in the County and state aforesaid beginning at a
marked chestnut standing near the head of a branch and corner line between the
land of the said HARRISON and FALLIN and down said branch to a ditch being the
line between said land and the land belonging to WILLIAM R. PRIDHAM and thence
along said PRIDHAM's line as the ditch runs to a marked white oak standing on
said ditch and thence along said PRIDHAM's line to a large poplar it being a
corner line between said land and WILLIAM R. PRIDHAM's land SAMUEL HUDSON's land
and the land belonging to the said JEREMIAH FALLIN. To have and to hold the said
land, tenements,------, hereditaments and each of the appurtenances and all and
singular the premises before mentioned unto the sd JEREMIAH FALLIN his heirs and
assigns free from the claim or claims of them the said WILLIAM HARRISON and
ELIZA his wife or either of them or either heirs and of all and every persons
whatsoever shall will and do warrant and forever defend by these presents. In
Witness whereof the said WILLIAM HARRISON and ELIZA his wife have hereunto set
their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

Richmond County, to wit, we WM.D.McCARTY and
FRANCES N. PENDLETON Justices of the Peace in the county aforesaid in the state
of Virginia do hereby certify that ELIZABETH (P.?) HARRISON, the wife of WILLIAM
(L.?) HARRISON parties to a certain Deed for the conveyance of real estate to
JEREMIAH FALLIN bearing the date the 27th day of March 1841 and hereto annexed
personally appeared before us in the County aforesaid and being examined by us
privily and apart from her husband and having the deed aforesaid fully explained
to her she the said ELIZABETH acknowledged the same to be her act and deed and
declated that she willingly signed sealed and delivered the same and that she
wished not to retract it. Given under our hands and seals 27 day of March 1841.

William HARRISON, 2 DEEDS Submitted by Madeline Reese
This Deed made this 25th day of February 1880, between Eliza Harrison of the
one part and William A. Harrison of the other part. Witnesseth: That in
consideration of the sum of Two Hundred dollars she the said Eliza Harrison,
doth grant sell and convey unto the said William A. Harrison all that certain
tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Richmond and state of
Virginia: bounded as follows to wit: Beginning at a Persimmon a cor. to the land
now owned by Thomas Woolard thence with his line S 7 11 1/2 W 54 1/2 pas to a
stake another corner with Woolard, thence S 13 1/2 E 194 pas to a Holly in swamp
thence up swamp to a small Gum thence N5W 192 1/3 pas to Beginning containing 46
acres 2 Roads and 37 Pe---? And the said Eliza Harrison covenants and agrees to
defend the said Wm A. Harrison in the title hereby conveyed and warrants it free
from the claims of all persons whomsoever. Given under my hand and seal this 2nd

Richmond County Virginia Deed
Book 33 page 118 ---------------------------------------------------- This
deed made on the lst day of May 1875 between George R. Hebron and Annah E, his
wife, and William A. Harrison, all of the County of Richmond & State of
Virginia. Witnesseth: that for and in consideration of Three Hundred dollars
secured to be paid, they the said George R. Hebron and Annah E., his wife, to
grant unto the said William A. Harrison, a certain tract or parcel of land
situated in the County aforesaid containing fifty acres more or less adjoining
the lands of John M.--son, Cromwell Rock and others and lying on the northwest
side of the main road leading from Farnham Church to Union Village, and the
grantors bind themselves to warrant the title to the said land unto the said
Harrison against the claims of all persons forever. Witness the following

Guardian Bond William and Samuel HARRISON Submitted by

Know All Men By These Presents that we Joseph Luckham and
Richard H. Lyell are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Virginia in
the sum of Two Hundred Dollars; to the payments whereof well and truly to be
made to the said Commonwealth of Virginia, we bind ourselves and our heirs,
executors as administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents and
sealed with our seals and dated this sixth day of September one thousand eight
hundred and fifty eight.
The Condition of the above obligation is such
that if the said Joseph Luckham who hath been this day by the County Court of
Richmond County appointed guardian of Samuel A. Harrison and William H. Harrison
orphans of William Harrison deceased;each over the age of fourteen years, by
their nomination made in open Court, shall faithfully discharge the duties of
this said office ----this obligation is to be void or else to remain in full
force.
