The only thing I do know is she married a John Henry Doffermire(which may have also so been spelled Dofflemoyer), they were resided in the Flint Hill area in the late 1800's or Early 1900's. John was born about 18l0 and Elizabeth about 18l5-17. They were living in Amissville in the 1870 census...John L. Waters age 6l, Elizabeth age 52 and Amy Baldwin age 72(who died 06 Jun 1877). EdillonSeeking information and burial locations of James Henry BROWNING b@1811, son of William and Nancy Stone Browning, who married 09 Apr 1835 Nancy Ann F. WATTERS/WATERS b@1809. Their children were Mary Frances b1836, Elias William b1838, Stanfield Gaunt b1840, Joseph James b1843, and Charles H. Browning b1848. The three older brothers were in the civil war. One brother was wounded and Stanfield died in 1862. Is there a record of Civil War graves? Charles would have been too young to fight. Were are these people buried? The 1870 census showed Henry age 59 and wife Ann age 60 living in Amissville, and in their household was William L. Browning age 30,and Leah L. Browning age 19. Mary G. Looking for information on James LLOYD born 10 March 1798 in England and died 2 April 1858. He married c1819 in Wales to Margaret JONES born 19 January 1800 in Wales. They came to America in 1828 bringing with them four children and settled in Chester Gap, Rappahannock County, Virginia. He then had seven more children. They were avid Baptists. Their children were:

The Rappahannock Co Deed Book B records the sale of 25 acres for 5 dollars on Oct 28, 1836 by his heirs. Heirs listed include William, Evens, Leah, Jemima and her husband James RANSBOTTOM, Abraham, and Clavy RANSBOTTOM. Another son John, deceased, was mentioned. I'm descended from a William JENKINS, perhaps this one mentioned. This William was b in the 1760s in Culpeper Co, and died ca May, 1850 in Rappahannock Co. He m Rachel BRANDON ca 1788. She was b in th 1770s, the d of Francis BRANDOM and Mary ASHER. His will written in Rapp Co on Apr 25, 1850, recorded in May 1850 in Will Book C. William's children: Roland, Julia Ann, Gracey, Charlotte, Nuraway, Juretta, Garland, and my Albert, b Dec 10, 1814, m. Mary Ann (Polly) Lockheart on Apr 28, 1834, d. Apr 21, 1874.
