In the Name of God amen I William Buckley of Loudoun County being in Perfect heath of body and sound memory Thanks be given unto god calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make And ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say Principally and first of all I give and recomment my soul into the hand of almighly god that gave it and my body commend to the Earth to be buried in decent christian burial at the Discretion of my Executors nothing doubting but at the general Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty poser of god and as Touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it has Pleased god to me in this life I give devise and dispose of the same In the following manner and form.
First I give and bequeath to my son Joshua Buckley my lot of land I now live on Item I leave to my Children John Buckley Joshua Buckley Samuel Buckley Elizabeth Harris Sarah Harris Catherine Harris and Rosanna Halbert and Elijah Buckley son of William Buckley dec my whole Estate both Real and personal the same to be sold and the money arrising from the sale therefore to be equally divided among them .
Item I nominate and appoint my live sons John Buckley and Joshua Buckley my Exec. Of This my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have Hereunto Set my hand and seal this 12th day of July 1786
Signed sealed and acknowledged In presence of Richard Neale acknowledged before us William Buckley (Ss) T Blackburne Richard L. Blackburne John Dudley At a Court held for Loudoun County June the 8th 1789 This Will was proved by the oaths of T. Blackburne and Richard Neale witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded and on the motion of Jho and Joshua Buckleys Exor.
Therein named who made oath according to law certificate is granted them for obtaining a probate in due form giving Security whereupon they with T. Blackburne and Samuel Love entered into and acknowledged their bond in the Penalty of five Hundred pounds Conditioned as the law directs
