And Jesse Ewell…for the vonceyance of atract of land of 1,000 acres as soon as James Ewell son of Eve Ewell became 21 years of age …also purchesed for the purpose of dividing the 1st tract of land between Adams and Turner …tree on Crooked Run to be marked EA.ZT ….the northern most to belong to John

28 Oct 1776 Deed Book 6 pages 320-322 B & S bet. Benjamin Turner of Culpeper County and Ann his wife and Wm Allason of Fauquier County, merchant. The Turners and John Orr and Mary his wife were lately seised in fee simple in right of Ann and Mary of tract in Hamilton Parish…from Prop to Francis Jackson and Thomas Jordan…11 Aug 1741 was recovered by judgement from Fauquier County from John Hooe late of Stafford County, gentleman ejectment in suit brought by Turner and wife and said Mary and a certain Martin Settle her former husband and divided between Turner and Orr, and the Turners for 100 tract adjacent where Allascon now resides and dwells.
