Virginia T. Boisseau's Will

From  Dinwiddie County, Va., Will Book No. 9, 1875 -1891

In the name of God amen,

I Virginia T. Boisseau of the County of Dinwiddie and State of Virginia being in feeble health but of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

Item 1st My will and desire is that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my executor hereinafter named one of my (unreadable) me at the time of my death.

Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my sister Maria Eveline Boisseau my one half interest in the Hotel lot at Dinwiddie C. H. now owned and occupied jointly with my sister.

Item 3rd I give and bequeath to my Brother G. A. Boisseau one half of my personal property to him and his heirs forever.

Item 4th I give and bequeath to my niece Lucy W. Gee the remaining one half of my personal property to her and her heirs forever.

Lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my Brother James W. Boisseau executor of this my last will and testament.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 10th day of August 1881.
 

I give seal and acknowledge by the testratrix in our presence as and for her last will and testament who in her presence and in the presence of each other have signed over  names as witnesses at her request.

At a Court held for the County of Dinwiddie April 15th 1882.

The last will and testament of V. T. Boisseau dec'd. bearing date the 10th day of August 1881 was this day produced in Court and offered for proof and was proven by the oaths of Wm. Ettenbrough & Arabella Ettenbrough the outstanding witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.

 
 
Note by Beth: Virginia T. Boisseau was a daughter of, Robert Goodwyn Boisseau and Martha Eppes Hardaway. She did not get married apparently.
