Thomas Tony Dalton

Thomas Tony Dalton, 81, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at Lynchburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Born Jan. 3, 1928, in Gretna, he was a member of Tree of Life Ministries and retired from Delta Star as a welder after many years.
He is survived by three children, Peggy Woodall of Lynchburg, Elizabeth Robertson of Gretna and Mark Dalton of Lynchburg; one granddaughter, Regina Towler and husband, Barry; four great-grandchildren, Cody and Justin Towler and Amy and Amanda Terry; as well as two sisters, Pauline Walker and Juanita Dalton.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, at Tree of Life Ministries by Pastor J. Mike Dodson and Pastor Mack Almond Jr. Interment followed in Virginia Memorial Park.  Whitten Funeral Home assisted the family.
