Thelma Dalton Barrow

Thelma Barrow, 83, a resident of Martinsville, died Friday, May 16, 2008.  She 
was born Dec. 2, 1924, in Stokes Co., NC, to Charlie Harrison Dalton and Anice 
Rogers Dalton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a 
son, Wayne Lyle Barrow; three sisters, Effie Parcell, Dixie Collins and Iris 
Kesner; and four brothers, Richard Dalton, Rogers Dalton, Cecil Dalton and 
Bruce Dalton.

She graduated from Stuart High School and was retired from Pannill Knitting. 
She attended the Church of Christ in Patrick County.  Surviving are her 
husband, Roy Chester Barrow of the home; a son, Wesley "Wes" Dalton Barrow of 
Martinsville; and four grandchildren.  A graveside service was held at 
Roselawn Burial Park, presumably Martinsville.
