Richard J. Dalton
	Martinsville, Henry County VA & Rockingham County NC Richard J. Dalton, 86, of 100 Linda Drive, Martinsville, died Nov. 22, 2009, at Golden Living Center in Martinsville.  He was born in Rockingham County, N.C., to Nash and Alberta Dalton. His parents preceded him in death.
He was a World War II Army veteran and retired from Doyle Lumber Co.  He was a member of Agape Christian Center.  Surviving are his wife, Ethel M. Dalton of the home; two sons, Stephone Dalton of Martinsville and Douglas Dalton of Madison, N.C.; a daughter, Veronica Dalton-Goins of the home; eight grandchildren; and other relatives.  Burial was in the Moore family cemetery in Stoneville, N.C.
