Marvin Lewis Jennings Draper, Pulaski Co VA Marvin Lewis Jennings, 75, of Draper, died Thursday morning, May 28, 2009, in the Pulaski Community Hospital. He was born in Draper on November 12, 1933, and was the first born of Edwin Lewis "Buster" Jennings and Edna Dalton Jennings. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Jane Jennings, Mary Helen Newton and Linda LaRue. He was a former employee of Klopman Mills and he enjoyed flying model airplanes, wood working and was a community volunteer. He served in the Army in Korea and he was retired as a government contractor for the Navy. Marvin was a giving man, giving his time and talent to his family and community. He attended the Draper United Methodist Church. Surviving are sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Kenneth Bess; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Shelby Jennings; nieces and nephews and spouses, Debbie B. and Dale Wilson, J.R. and Linda Flitchum, Susie and Jim McGuire, Randy Flitchum, Cindy and Robert Eastwood, Keith and Carla Newton, Rocky LaRue, Lance and Heather LaRue, Paula Flitchum. Burial was in the Draper Cemetery with Pulaski VFW Post #1184 conducting the military graveside rites.
