Mamie Hudson Dalton, 84, of Rocky Mount, Va., passed away Friday, July 31, 2009. A devoted wife and mother who loved and cared for her family, she was a lifetime member of Redwood United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Dalton; sisters, Charlotte Young and Vera Maxey; brothers, Reggie Hudson and Donald Hudson. Surviving are her children, Margie Dalton Hambrick and husband, Tom, Margaret D. Parrish and husband, David, C. Wayne Dalton and wife, Annette, Keith Glenwood Dalton and wife, Mary, Ricky Lee Dalton and fianc, Peggy, A. Denise David and husband, Frankie; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Perdue and Frances Brooks; several nieces and nephews. Interment was in Franklin Memorial Park.
