Ethel Prevette Dalton

Ethel Prevette Dalton, 83, of 136 Bowe St., died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 at 
Danville Regional Medical Center.  Born May 2, 1924, in Mocksville, N.C., she 
was the daughter of the late Samuel Beecher Prevette Sr. and the late Julia 
Frances Creason Prevette.
She had worked as a weaver for Dan River Inc. and was a member of the Dan 
River Retirees Club.  She married Marvin Bennett "BEE" Dalton on May 14, 1946; 
he died April 3, 1998.
She is survived by three sons, Marvin B. Dalton Jr. and wife, Jeannette 
Dalton, of Ruffin, N.C., Dowin T. Dalton and wife, Meryl Dalton, of Bachelors 
Hall, and Roger W. Dalton of Lynchburg; a daughter, Carolyn Sue Touchstone and 
husband, Morgan Touchstone, of Dry Fork.   Interment was in Danville Memorial 
Gardens.
