EDW. FARLEY OF THE COUNTY OF BRADFORD TO
JAMES HOWARD OF THE COUNTY OF CHESTERFIELD

This Indenture made this 12th day of November 1792 between Edward FARLEY of the County of BRADFORD on the one part and James HOWARD of the County of Chesterfield on the other part. Witnesseth that the said Edward FARLEY for and inconsideration of the Sum of Two hundred pounds Currant money of Virginia to him in had paid by the said James HOWARD the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said Edward FARLEY and the said James HOWARD his heir's, executors, administrators and assignes thereof ........ Hath given, granted, bargained, sold, alieved, ........, and confirmed and by these presents doe give, grant, bargain, sell, alieve, ......, and confirm unto the said James HOWARD his heirs and assigns forever on certain piece or parcel of Land situated lying and being in the County of Chesterfield and bounded as follows....to wit Beginning at Corner Dogwood on COGWOOD's line in the North ...... of Nison's Branch then to a Post Oak on PITMAN's line thence to an Ash in the Spring Branch thence to the Spring ........ to a corner stump in the field, thence to a broken top Black Jack on John MURCHIE's line then to a .dead Red Oak, thence to a Post Oak and from thence to the beginning. To have and to hold ......said Land and premises unto the said James HOWARD his heirs, executors, assigns forever to the only proper........behoof of him. The said James HOWARD his Heir's , executors, assignes, forever together with all and Singular the ........, ......., and appurtenaces to the same belonging or which have been taken and reported to being to the same and the ....... and ......, ...............................................................................and profits thereof. And the said Edward FARLEY for himself and his heirs doth hereby covenant and agree , bound with the said James HOWARD his heirs and assigns that the said James shall and may from and after this delivery of this present and lawfully seize of a good, sure and indefeasible .....of inheritance, fee simple, in and to the Land and premises aforesaid and that .....said James shall and may quietly and peaceable occupy hold and enjoy the same ...... free and clear from all charges and incumbrances whatever. And ...... said Edward FARLEY shall and will warrant and forever ......... self and my heirs the Land and premises aforesaid unto the said James HOWARD and his heir's and assigns . In witness whereof I have hereunto set and affixed by hand and seal this day and year first above written.
