Welcome to the VAGenWeb page for Chesterfield County. My name is
Edward Neal and I am the coordinator for this county. As most of
you know, this project is an effort to help everyone in their
endeavor to find their ancestors. As you also know, this project
is a totally volunteer effort and it's success is dependant upon
everyone contributing to the project.
Perhaps a better way to describe this
project would be to say that this is a place, or depository, for
everyone to share their information with others and, if you
prefer, a place to store your data. We should always keep in
mind that if we are not willing to share.....then we should not
expect others to share with us.
As a volunteer and coordinator for this page, I will help you in
any way I can but I do not live in Virginia and I do not have
the time to do lookups or other research. I would appreciate any
comments you may have regarding this site and particularly if
there are any broken links or other problems you might encounter
in navigating this site
