Intestate and so became the Estate of one Thomas Hix Nephew and

Carolina, Planters, appoint Samuell Buckson of the privince and
county aforesaid, planter bound an intended voyage to Virginia to
be our true and lawfull attorney to sue for and recover all or
Estate real and personal left us by our Father William Hogen's
last of the County of Brunswick, Virginia, Planter, dated 21

Indenture made 29 July 1751, by Ann Clack widow & Relect of
Sterling Clack Late of the County of Brunswick Gent. whereas the
aforesaid Sterling Clack in his life time to wit in or about the
month of January, 1750 did make his last will and testament and
put the same in writing and also afterwards to wit on the ninth
day of the same month of January 1750, did make a Codicil in
writing and put the same in wirting and duly published and
delared the same as part of his last will & Testament as by the
said will and Codicil duly proved and recorded in Brunswick
County may more full appear and wheras the said Sterling Clack by
his aforesaid last will and testament and Codicil theunto annexed
did dispose of all his Estate both real and personal without
making and providing for the aforesaid Ann his widow and relect a
Comopatant provision & Maintainance by reason wherof the said Ann
is aggrieved by the disposition of the said Sterling Clack estate
so as aforesaid made and much dissatisfied with the provision for
her by her said husbands last will and testament and Codicil made
now this Indenture that the said Ann by virtue of the power and
authority to her given according to the Directions of the act of
Assembly in such Casess made and provided hath abstoletly denied
disowned quit Claimed and renounced and by these presents for her
self her Exors and Adminors doth absolutely deny quit claim
disown and forever renounce all benefit advantage and profit
which she hath or may have Challenge claim or demand of and in
the Estate late of the said Sterling Clack deceased by from or

shall render to the Auditor and Receiver General of his Majestys
Revenue a partiular Perfect and true account of all his majestys

conveyed to one Henry Ledbetter by deed of B&S and by him sold
and conveyed to the said Lewis Parham by deed of B&S recorded 6

Indenture made 31 May 1751 between John Harwell of Brunswick
County, Planter, and Lewis Parham of same, Merchant, £50, Land
and plantation whereon the said John Harwell now liveth with the
rest he lately took up and surveyed and haths a Patent for
containing 250a, also personal property; true intent and meaning
that if the said John Harwell shall on or before the Last Tuesday
in September next ensueing the date hereof will well and truely
pay Lewis Parham the sum of £5-6 Shillings & 6 pence with lawful
interest according to the tenour of a Bond given for the same,

shall truly and faithfully execute and perform his said office,

beaverpond Branch thence along the Beaverpond branch to the

of the said Branch then along some marked trees to aline of Mr.
Henry Simmons near a branch called by the name of Gunters thence
along Simmonses line west to a corner then north along aline to
the Beaver pond Branch then down the said Branch to the Beginning
being the upper part of 400a bough of William Gent. Signed

North Carolina, and Robert Jones Junior of Virginia, Attorney at
Law, £150, 250a, which said plantation and seat tract or parcel
of Land Daniel Hicks father of the aforesaid Daniel Hicks did by
his last Will and Testament in Writing bearing date 17 December
1734 did devise to the aforesaid Daniel Hicks, his Son in fee
simple; Bounded to wit: South by Meherrin River West by a Swamp
and the Lands of the said Robert Jones Junr. Eastwardly by
Nathaniel edwards's dividing line to Meherrin River aforesaid.
