RAGAN(or REAGAN) & HARRISON -- Looking for information on children of Jeremiah RAGAN and Abigail HARRISON, especially his daughter Abigail b ca 1778 in Rockingham Co. VA. I have recently received some information that it was this Abigail RAGAN who married Nathaniel HOOD, son of Robert HOOD, in 1795 in Greene Co. TN. I do know that Jeremiah and his family moved to Washington Co. TN sometime after the Rev War, so it sounds plausible. I also know that there was a HOOD family living in the Rockingham Co. - Augusta Co. area in the mid 1700s, so perhaps that is how the RAGANs and HOODs became acquainted. I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

CAMPBELL, Moses listed as living along south branch of the Potomac Then in Augusta Co Maybe as early as 1740. need to know his family, wife Jene, children, parents, bro-sis. names. He later moved to Amherst and Bedford counties, have that info. will Exch. Is he part of the "white David - black David Campbell group. Will Kern searching for further Campbell ancestors.

Am researching a book on William CRAIG, born 1807 Greenbrier County, VA, died 1869 Washington Territory. He left Virginia for the far west and became a fur trapper. He may have attended military school as a boy. Does anyone know of a military academy in Augusta Co. during the period 1812-1828? I'm almost sure William CRAIG comes from the Craig family in Augusta County but so far am unable to connect to his parents.
