The cemetery is located off of Grandma's Hill Road, behind the old house of William T. and Edna Earle "Mittie' Staples Schaar. The land is currently owned by the Great-Granddaughter of Julius Schaar, Julie Schaar Thomas, and her husband Gene. The land has been in the Schaar family since 1878. - Contributed by Adon Jennings
* Served in the 6th Md Inf, Co F, as a Drummer during the Civil War.
** Killed in action at Luxembourg, Germay, during World War II. Is buried in the U. S. Military Cemetery Grand Failly, located 10 miles north of Verdun, France.
   A Memorial Plaque was place in his honor in the cemetery.
