OLD MT ZION CEMETERY located on the creek in the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter in Section 20, Township 13N, Range 6 E, Rock Creek township, Saunders County, Nebraska. It is abandoned and help was needed to locate its whereabouts. Wesley Burklund and Francis Beaman both of Ceresco, Nebraska located the cemetery for me. This was recorded on May 12, 1979 by Clarabelle Mares 1722 East 19 Fremont, Nebraska.

A. W. footstone (Mr Beaman indicated there was a stone at one time for a Wilson - we believe this to be a footstone to the marker) There have been bodies removed and interred at the Rock Creek Cemetery in Section 22, two miles east of this cemetery. Mr Burklund reported that the Rock Creek cemetery has officially taken the name of Mt Zion Cemetery, however the register of deeds office state the name on deed records is Rock Creek Cemetery for Section 22.
