          GRADUATES OF ASHLAND HIGH SCHOOL 1898 (Saunders Co.)

  There were 16 members of the graduating class and their class motto was:
"Leave no stone unturned". Flags were their decorations as it was during the
Spanish-American War years. Lizzie BRYAN played the new Chickering Piano
made by Ashland's CHICKERING Bros.

The north part of Salt Creek Precinct Saunders County in 1866. The south part remained in Cass County.
