This index was prepared by Karolee Ingraham Plock and, once again, both the Loup NEGenWeb and Loup County Historical Society, Taylor, NE, would like to express their appreciation for her time, and invaluable contribution.

Colleen Iris Goehring Switzer invested in creating the original work.  We also would like to express our appreciation to her, and for her vision in preserving this important piece of the history of the people of Loup County.

All but Gracie and Long Valley are still '"active" cemeteries; those two are very remote and difficult to find. Consult the Loup County Historical Society for assistance if you desire to visit these cemeteries as a guide and a 4-WD vehicle are required.

**  There are instances where someone has been listed as being buried in one of
Loup's established cemeteries but they may have been buried in a single, or "lonesome" plot, such as on family property.
