Florine Helen Foes

Little Florine Helen Foes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Foes,
died Friday, July 26, of scarlet fever, aged five months and
nineteen days. She was buried in the Fairbury cemtery Saturday.
H.L. Foes has been employed at the store of Cressey & Son for
the past year and lives at 303 H St.
George Fraizer

George Fraizer died at his residence at Daykin, August 13th. He
was born in Indiana, April 13, 1844. He left a wife and three sons
besides other friends to mourn his death. He had resided here only
about a year.
Margaretha Friesen

Mrs. Margaretha Friesen, wife of Abraham T. Friesen died at her
late home Sunday night after more than a year suffering from
dropsy. The funeral was held on Thursday, interment in the
cemetery near by. The services were conducted by Rev. Geo Mancha
from Glen Elder, Kans. Text Rev. 14, 12-13. The deceased was 56
years 11 mo and 22 days of age. She was the mother of 9 children,
all living and present at the funeral, namely, John, Abraham,
Nicholas, Jacob, Katie, Peter, Margaretha, Mary, and Isaac. She
and her husband were married in Russia about 32 years ago and
moved to America in 1874 to the present home. They soon after
their arrival united themselves with the Reformed Mennonite
church. She leaves an affectionate husband, two brothers, and
three sisters, besides her children, grandchildren and numerous
relatives and friends to mourn her early departure.
