MARY LAIBLE OF STUART DIES AT 85

   Mrs Mary Laible, 85 year old pioneer resident of the Stuart community, died Sunday Nov 7 at Atkinson Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for 2 days. Prior to entering the hospital, Mrs Laible had been living at the Good Samaritan Center in Atkinson.

   Rosary services were held at the Seger Funeral Home at 8 pm Sun and Mon.

   The funeral service was held at 10 am Tuesday at St Boniface Catholic Church in Stuart, the Rev A J Paschang officiating. Burial was in St Boniface Cemetery. The pallbearers were John Laible, Joe Laible, Felix Laible, Lawrence J Kramer, Joe Kramer and Carl Kramer.

   Mary Kramer Laible was the dau of Wenzel Kramer and Catherine Vincenz Kramer. She was born Nov 28,1880 at Kunas, Bohemia and came to this country with her parents when she was one year old.

   She was married to Felix Laible on Jan17,1899 at Stuart.

   She was a member of St Boniface Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers Society. Members of the Christian Mothers attended the funeral in a body.

   She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan 17,1901; one brother, Robert and one sister, Frances Kramer.

   She is survived by one daughter, Mrs B C (Catherine) Engler of Stuart; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

   Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr and Mrs Mel Engler of Omaha; Frank Beck and dau, Mary of Osmond; Bernelda Wolfschlag of Glendale, Cal and Mr and Mrs Louie Kehn of Butte.
